Editorial Policy & Standards

Our rigorous verification standards, publisher authentication, fact-checking methodology, and correction protocols.

1. Verification & Cataloguing Process

Before any video game record is published in the Join Yono directory, it passes through our multi-stage compliance and editorial workflow:

  • Source Authentication: The game must be verifiable on legitimate, certified repositories such as the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or a verified developer primary domain.
  • Zero Real-Money Gaming Audit: Mechanics are evaluated to ensure absence of cash wagering, financial stakes, or real-money reward loops.
  • Package Integrity: Cryptographic signatures and package certificates are inspected to ensure titles are not counterfeit variants.
  • Safety & Permission Review: We examine requested device permissions (camera, location, SMS) to flag potential over-privileged applications.

2. Independence and Sponsorship Disclosure

Join Yono does not sell ranking positions, artificial review scores, or unverified publisher endorsements. Any informational notices or updates are strictly informational and clearly distinguished from directory entries.

3. Content Corrections & Takedown Protocol

We take factual accuracy seriously. If an application updates its monetization model, changes developers, or deprecates compatibility, we immediately update our records.

Publishers or copyright holders wishing to submit official metadata updates or request directory removals can reach our desk directly through the Correction & Takedown Desk. All requests are logged in our administrative audit trails.
